We’re able to offer the best quality because, unlike many other transcription agencies, we don’t outsource overseas: Our team is made entirely of professional North America-based transcriptionists. We have education and career experience in language-related fields, including writing, editing, and teaching. And we don’t use auto-transcription tools to generate our transcripts.
As skilled online researchers, we take the time to verify the correct spelling and capitalization of names, businesses, brands, and places within our transcripts. We also follow a house style guide for consistent styling of numerals, dates, addresses, and titles of works. As a result, our transcripts are highly accurate, properly punctuated, and ready to publish in print or online.
Our default transcription style is clean verbatim – that is, we omit um’s and uh’s, stutters, and meaningless filler words (“like,” “you know,” etc.). We find that clients prefer this style because of its readability; however, we can also transcribe in true verbatim style if your project requires it.

We regularly work with master’s and PhD students and academic faculty on qualitative research projects in healthcare and the social sciences. We offer affordable, accurate transcription of qualitative research in both clean and true verbatim styles.
We offer our most affordable rates to students from Toronto and other Ontario-based universities and colleges, including the University of Toronto, York, Ryerson, and McMaster.
Typically, our student clients provide us with a research confidentiality agreement supplied by their research coordinator. If you don’t have one readily available, we can supply one for you that covers all the bases.
