What are the benefits of using a Canadian transcription company?

Nowadays, many transcription companies outsource offshore to cut costs on labour. Unlike these services, we use Canadian transcriptionists for our Canadian clients. Our transcriptionists are intimately familiar with local terminology, names, places, spellings, slang, and regional accents, resulting in highly accurate transcripts.

Our Canadian transcription services

We transcribe audio and video for businesses and professionals in a wide variety of industries, including education, academic, corporate, entertainment, and media.

Some of the transcription projects we handle are meetings, lectures, podcasts, symposia, presentations, conference calls, market research, academic research, interviews, oral histories, earnings calls, focus groups, theses and dissertations, and voice memos.

In addition to audio transcription, we also provide document typing services.

Rates for transcription services

Because there are multiple factors involved in the length of time it takes to produce a quality transcript, it’s difficult for us to give an estimate for your project until we’ve previewed your audio. Please follow the instructions below to email us your audio for a quote. Feel free to contact us prior to submitting your audio if you have any questions.

We charge a competitive per-audio-minute rate based on audio difficulty, speaker count, and required turnaround time. There is a minimum order requirement of 25 audio minutes for first-time clients.

We currently offer a free 10-minute trial for academic institutions and eligible non-profits.

How to send audio for a quote

The easiest way to transfer audio to us is to upload the files to a file-storage service like Dropbox or Google Drive and then share the link with us in an email. If you’re not familiar with how to use these services, contact us and we’ll send you a link to a private Dropbox folder where you can upload your files directly.
