Our transcriptionists are skilled at transcribing biblical material with great accuracy. Your transcript will include:
- Capitalization of significant pronouns, such as the Lord, the Son of Man, and Paul the Apostle
- Proper formatting of biblical references; e.g., 2 Chronicles 15:2
- Appropriate use of quotation marks when transcribing biblical passages; e.g., In the words of Paul the Apostle, “There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.”

Unless requested otherwise, we transcribe in clean verbatim style. As opposed to true verbatim style, clean verbatim is a lightly edited style of transcription that omits redundancies and filler speech, such as “um” and “uh.” (Most speakers – even highly practiced ones, like pastors – use filler words surprisingly often!)
Additionally, we follow AP style rules for textual elements such as punctuation, numerals, dimensions, titles of works, and so forth. The result is a clean, consistently formatted transcript of your sermon.

Rates for sermon transcription
Our rates for sermon transcription are competitive and affordable. Pricing is by the audio minute, based on the number of speakers and audio recording quality. We offer lower rates for one-speaker, clearly recorded sermons and seminars.
How to deliver your sermon audio to us
To receive a quote on your transcription project, we recommend first uploading the audio files to an online file-hosting service like Dropbox or Google Drive. These free services allow you to upload large files and share links to your audio. Then, email us at info (at) opaltranscriptionservices.com with the link to your audio files.
If you’re not familiar with how to use the abovementioned file-hosting services, send us an email and we’ll share a link to a private folder where you can upload your sermon files for a quote.
