Professional typing services for Vancouver organizations
Our online typing services include retyping PDF and JPEG files into editable Microsoft Word transcripts. You can send us a digital copy of the material to be retyped, such as a scan, an iPhone image, or a web screenshot. Alternately, we can work from a hard copy, such as a book, that you mail to us.
Our remote staff reside in North America and have backgrounds in editing, proofreading, business writing, and teaching. We never outsource to overseas typists or use OCR technology to convert documents.
We’ll ensure that any inline style elements from the original documents are copied over – for example, paragraphs, subheads, charts, lists, block quotes, signature lines, endnotes, and bold and italicized text. We can also add basic document formatting, such as page numbers, tables of contents, dot leaders, tables, titles, and subtitles. At your request, we can also proofread the original documents.

Our rates are competitive with other typing services in Vancouver and across British Columbia. We price most projects by the page or word, rather than per hour of our time, depending on the word count and legibility of your documents.

We use secure file transfer services for sending and receiving project files and transcripts. We can also use your organization’s favourite file-sharing and collaboration tools, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and SharePoint.
