How we price our audio transcription services
For most projects, we price our transcription services by the audio minute so that you’ll know the cost before we begin work on your project. Our rates are competitive with other online transcription services in Vancouver that use professional Canada- and U.S.-based transcriptionists.
Per-audio-minute rates depend on audio quality, number of speakers, and whether you need timestamps at regular intervals and/or true verbatim transcription.
Our default transcription style is clean verbatim, which is a lightly edited style that omits meaningless filler speech such as um’s, uh’s, stutters, “like,” “you know,” etc. Most of our clients prefer clean verbatim style, as the transcripts cost less and are easy to read.
Academic transcription services for Vancouver students
Academic transcription is one of our specialties: We’ve assisted many students on transcription of qualitative research interviews to help meet requirements for a thesis or dissertation. We’re especially experienced at transcribing research in the social sciences and healthcare.
